Describe your cooking style in three words: Fresh. Approachable. Creative.
What’s your signature dish? Depends on the season. My Peanut Sesame Slaw with Soba Noodles is always a hit, though
What do you think is the most underrated ingredient? Tahini. I just got back from Israel and I want to put creamy, nutty tahini in everything now.
What’s the best cooking advice you’ve ever received? You can do it. Cooking seems so intimidating at first, but with a playful, “Let’s try this and see what happens,” sort of attitude, it can be really fun.
If you could share a meal with anyone in history, who would it be? Probably Mindy Kaling, quite simply because she would keep me in stitches.
